Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today said that he would turn Andhra Pradesh into Swarnandhra by 2029. Addressing first Collectors’ Conference in Vijayawada, he said that he promulgated the 7 missions which have been developed for the development of Andhra Pradesh state and explained them. As the RBI does not reschedule the loans incurred by the farmers, Naidu said that the state government would reschedule and subsequently waive off the same. He said that the self help centres are the key resources and asked the officials to ensure that a member from each family to become the part of the self help centers in the state. He said that the literacy rate in the state was only 67% and urged the officials to enhance the literacy rate in the state. He asked the collectors to ensure the increased GDP of the state.
Naidu said that the Telangana state government is not coming forward despite the fact that they have come forward to bear 58% share in the fee reimbursement to the students. Further, he said that it was not desirous to have differences in the matter of fee reimbursement and invited the Telangana state government for working together.The chief minister said that though they are in power only in Andhra Pradesh state, there was an explicit responsibility bestowed on the Telugu Desam Party to look after the welfare of Telangana people as well. He reiterated that TDP is a party established for the welfare of Telugu people and not confined to one particular state.
