The Telangana government has decided to construct a Camp Office with a budget of Rs 2 crore for each MLA in his respective constituency.On the directions of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, letters were sent to district collectors to identify government lands in each segment and send report to the government at the earliest.
This decision was taken in view of dissent among legislators that they do not have official spaces in their own constituency to regularly interact with people or hear their grievances. Most legislators in State either have made some part of their residences as Camp Office or have rented private spaces for the same.
