Hyderabad Nov 25: The government wants to complete the water grid project on time and distribute purified waters to every household in the districts, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Wednesday. At a review meeting on the scheme at MCR HRD with various departments’ officials he said that the TRS leadership has to keep its promise of giving waters in three years else will not ask votes. He alleged that the previous government took a lot of time to complete the projects in irrigation sector. This is not our practice and we want every work should be expedited to ensure that the project gets fructified as planned he said. The chief minister also asked the officials to coordinate to avoid obstacles in land acquisition, design change and financial allocations and timely payments. He also directed to complete the construction of in-take wells, water treatment plants and laying of pipelines for the prestigious project.
