The TRS plenary meeting, which has been postponed in view of Bathukamma and Dasara festivals, will now be held on October 11 and 12.As part of the plenary session, a public meeting will be organised at Secunderabad Parade Grounds on October 12, which will be addressed by TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The plenary meeting would be attended by rank and file of the party from 10 districts.KCR is expected to give directions to district units and key leaders on the job ahead to strengthen the party and make it a strong force in the next five years.The two-day plenary session is likely to focus on preparation for the forthcoming GHMC polls. Despite an alliance with MIM, with new political situation prevailing in the state capital and sizeable presence of Seemandhra people in the GHMC limits, it would be difficult for the party to win enough seats in the ensuing polls. TRS is likely to focus on strengthening its organisational structure.
