Over 7,000 lower-ranked personnel of Hyderabad Police would be taking part in an orientation course to make the force people-friendly and prevent crime with the participation of citizens.Hyderabad police ommissioner M Mahender Reddy inaugurated the two-day orientation camp here. As many as 7,144 personnel - from constabulary to sub-inspector rank - under Hyderabad Police Commissionerate will take part in the training programme.'The main objective of the course is to inculcate such values and norms that would motivate them to lead the force with courage, honesty, dedication and strong sense of service to the people.
It is to make them recognise and respect the right of every citizen, in every action he takes in discharging his official duty. The course will also make them to respond promptly and to obtain co-operation of public by presenting themselves as a person who uses his authority in accordance with law and for public interest,' Mahender Reddy said.A creative partnership between police and the people will be established, which would build a safe, secure and stable society with assurance on dignity of the individual. Joint police commissioner, CAR, M Shiva Prasad, additional police commissioner, Law and order, Anjani Kumar were present.
