The Shiv Sena and the BJP have decided to continue with their alliance for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections in the meeting held among their party leaders in Mumbai today.In a joint press conference held after the meeting by Vinod Tawde and Sanjay Raut, they said, the Shiv Sena and the BJP have decided to continue with their alliance and have come up with a new seat sharing formula. They also said that a meeting will be held this evening with other allies like RPI, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna, Rashtriya Samaj Paksha and Shiv Sangram to discuss the new formula and reach a conclusion. BJP’s Maharashtra election in-charge Om Mathur, State Unit Chief Devendra Fadnavis, Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Eknath Khadse and Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council Vinod Tawde were present at the meeting along with Shiv Sena leaders like Subhash Desai, Anil Desai and Sanjay Raut.
