Telugu Desam Party (TDP) floor leader in Telangana State assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao scoffed at news reports that he was leaving the party to join rival TRS party. He made it clear that he would remain in the TDP till his last breath. The TDP leader however agreed that he had differences with party MLA A Revanth Reddy on the issue of land allotment to Metro Rail project.Rao said that he would abide by the decision of party chief N Chandrababu Naidu on the issue irrespective of his differences with his colleague in Telangana assembly. He said that he did think that industrialist Rameswara Rao committed any mistake on the issue of land allotment to his firm as portrayed by Revanth Reddy. Rao also said that he met with CM KCR along with some prominent persons of the state. Rao met with party president Naidu at Lake View guest on Tuesday to give clarification on the media reports of his joining the TRS Party along with other party leaders including Revanth Reddy. The meeting revolved around the news reports that four party MLAs including Errabelli Dayakar Rao would join rival TRS Party. During the meeting, Naidu reportedly asked the Rao and Revanth Reddy to work in tandem to consolidate the party in Telangana state. Meanwhile, MLA Revanth Reddy made it clear that he would continue his tirade against CM KCR on the issue of land allotment and subsequent stamp duty waiver to industrialist Rameswara Rao.
