Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy demanded the government to ensure farmers were provided fresh loans without any conditions. Addressing press conference at the party office, Kishan Reddy said that the government failed to implement the assurances made during the elections. The Kharif season ended without any loans to the farmers due to the delaying tactics of the government. The government should at least now issue guidelines to the banks to issue fresh loans without imposing conditions. The BJP president demanded the government to convene the Legislative Assembly without delay to discuss important issues of public concern. “The Central government and the State government have assumed office around the same time. The Centre conducted the budget session of the Parliament, got the budget passed and is moving ahead on the path of progress. It is not correct if the State Government tries to get the budget passed through an ordinance,” said G Kishan Reddy.Referring to the high court’s order to the government, Kishan Reddy said, what his party had said earlier has been endorsed by the high court. He said the BJP was for fee reimbursement for all the students. He said that the nativity should be decided as per the Article 371D. The government should learn to honour opposition party suggestions otherwise the courts would have to interfere, he added.
