NIA arrested Myanmar national in Hyderabad




The National Investigation Agency (NIA), claims to have arrested a Myanmar national, Khaleed alias Mohammed Khalid (28) from Hyderabad as part of its investigation in the Burdwan blast case. NIA arrests Myanmar national from Hyderabad Khalid, a trained explosive expert, was part of Rohingya solidarity organisations and has links with Bangladesh based terror groups has been arrested by NIA Hyderabad on Nov 17 afternoon hours. He is said to be involved in running terror camps in the border areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar, a press release from NIA stated.

He has admitted to have undergone training Organized by Tehreek-e-Azadi Arakan with trainers from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, the release added. Incriminating videos, literature relating to poison, bomb making explosives, Jihadi literature including ones from ISIS were recovered from him, the NIA claimed.Khalid was allegedly holding fake identity documents and was residing without any valid travel documents in Hyderabad.
