Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said central teams will be visiting Cyclone-affected districts of state on November 24th and 25th to collect and analyse the damage based on the enumeration done by the state government.The Chief Minister, in a review meeting with officials of power, agriculture, irrigation, municipal administration and Panchayati Raj departments, asked officials to ready reports of damage to crops, properties, poultry, marine industry and other infrastructure as well as the amount spent on relief and restoration works.
He said that the officials should be ready with reports to submit it to the central team. This, he opined, would enable the state government to request for better relief package.Naidu directed officials to prepare a report on the amount disbursed for crop insurance, enhanced relief (amount) provided to victims of Cyclone and other budget used for restoration works.Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao and principal secretaries of power, agriculture, irrigation, municipal administration and Panchayati Raj departments were present at the meeting.
