Consumer and
healthcare major Johnson and Johnson plans to set up largest manufacturing facility in Telangana
state with an initial investment of Rs 400 cr near Kothur in Mahbubnagar. The
company will manufacture personal hygiene and skincare products at this plant,
it said in a statement.
The plant
design will incorporate many innovative elements to ensure energy efficiency,
water consumption patterns and waste management in a sustainable manner, it
added. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for the new
plant, which would be spread over 47 acres.
