At last, the Hyderabad Metro Rail had a trail run. The train was tested in the route between Nagole and Survey of India office. Officers concerned were on board to analyse the standards.
As per the safety certification standards, the trial run is a must and the train has to run at least 2000 km before the certification process gets completed. The Commissioner for Railway Safety (CRS) along with other official authorities would conduct a safety audit of the project.The CRS officials would inspect the tracks and safety and speed norms, and RDSO officials will check for compliance with design, standards and specifications.The Hyderabad Metro Rail project is being managed by the L&T Hyderabad Pvt ltd.
