Good news for home users is that Microsoft has made Office version for iPhone and Android smartphones free of cost. But the catch is, the business users need to subscribe for it. Web analysts say the changelogs for both iOS and Android apps are the same, means, the Office mobile is now to tally free for home users which also enable them to bug fixing and stability improvements. That is, now MS Office become free on iPhone and Android, but iPad still needs Office 365 subscription to edit documents, which may cost around Rs 4,199 for users to enable to access Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SkyDrive cloud storage for 5 pcs and mobile devices. It is also available on a monthly subscription of about Rs 420.
