Talasani, Tummala may get cabinet berth




Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Tummala Nageshwar Rao, Konda Surekha and others are likely to be inducted in the K Chandrashekar Rao's cabinet which is up for expansion any time after December 2. According to highly placed sources in the TRS, the Chief Minister has decided to expand his Cabinet after the budget session of the Assembly. Sources said that the Chief Minister has decided to reward the leaders coming from other parties like TDP.Presently there are 12 ministers, including the Chief Minister, in the cabinet. There is scope for another six in the Cabinet. Sources said that Tummala Nageshwar Rao from Khammam is slated to get berth in the KCR Cabinet.

The Chief Minister had assured a bigger role in the party and government to the former TDP leader who had upper role in Khammam district. Similarly, KCR has made up his mind to give ministerial berth to TDP's city leader and MLA T Srinivas Yadav probably with an eye on the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections scheduled next year.
There is scope for a woman candidate in the Cabinet and Konda Surekha fits in with her experience as the minister earlier. Sources said that Surekha would be inducted into the Cabinet from Warangal. Another candidate from Warangal, Mulugu MLA Ajmeera Chandulal is also slated to get a ministerial berth. Already, T Rajaiah is in the Cabinet from the district.
