KCR electrified Medak by-poll campaign, ask vote for `Golden Telangana’


Telangana Chief Minister and TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao’s participation electrified the Medak Lok Sabha by-poll campaign as he addressed a largely attended public meeting in Narsapur, just a day ahead of concluding campaign. The poll is scheduled to be held on Sept 13.Asking people to vote for TRS candidate to achieve his government’s ambitious programme of `Golden Telangana’, he said that all the welfare programme promised by his party would be started from Dasara and farms loan waiver would be realized very soon.Claiming that his government has started fulfilling poll promises and working out for permanent solutions for problems like power shortage, housing and infrastructure, he said “I am cautiously moving to ensure that every rupee being spent for people should reach them without giving scope for misuse by middlemen”.

Stating that both Congress and BJP fielding candidaties who were very recently rejected by people in Assembly elelctions, he wondered “how which was not valid in Assembly poll would perform well in Lok Sabha poll?”. He also accused that BJP has no right to ask vote in Telangana as it has taken away seven mandals in Khammam district and also power benefiting Andhra Pradesh.Strongly objecting BJP fielding a candidate who was `traitor of Telangana’, he asked whether that party has no other candidate to field. He asked people not to vote for such candidate.Surprising TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah claims of large scale farmer’s suicides in three-month old TRS regime, Rao asked who were responsible for such a situation? Is it  was not due to 10-year misrule of Cognress, he added.Recallingl that his party has been formulating novel welfare schemes that were not thought by other parties during their regime, he assured that all such schemes would be grounded very soon taking all precautions. The scemes include two-bed room flats in 125 yards site for poor, increased pensions of Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500 and three-acre agriculture land for dalits.
