Chandrababu Naidu visiting Naya Raipur today

 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu - whose state would be developing a new capital city post-bifurcation - has left for Raipur today to  visit Naya Raipur, the upcoming new capital of Chhattisgarh,  Naidu will later meet his Chhattisgarh counterpart Raman Singh to discuss the successful execution of projects in Naya Raipur, official sources said. Naidu will also have a meeting with Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA). Following the bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh government has declared that the new capital city of the truncated state will be developed in the area around Vijayawada. Earlier this month, a delegation of Vijayawada Development Committee had visited Naya Raipur.

Naidu is taking a team comprising Transtory chairman Ch Sridhar, Navayuga chairman Viswantha Rao, GVK Group chairman GV Krishna Reddy, Gangavaram Ports chairman DVS Raju, BSR Infra chairman B Srinivas Rao, GMR Group chairman GV Nageshwar Rao, NCC chairman Ranga Raju, Madhucon chairman Nama Nageshwar Rao, Reddy Labs chairman DV Prassad Reddy, Divis Labs chairman Murali, TV9 and Sri City chairman Srini Raju, Bharat Biotech chief Krishna Yella, Apollo chairperson Shobhana Kamineni, Laurus Pharma chief Satyanarayana, Srujana chairman YS Choudhary, TDP MPs CM Ramesh and Galla Jayadev.During his visit, Naidu will be meeting Chief Minister Raman Singh and will have elaborate discussion on the projects ongoing in Naya Raipur. Naidu will also be interacting with officials of the Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) regarding the ongoing projects, challenges being faced by them while implementing them such as acquisition of land and financial management.
